MARSHA’S STREUSEL TOPPING

For fruit crisps, muffins, coffee cake, and the like

Makes enough to cover a two-quart casserole

 

1/2 cup   butter (one stick)
1 cup sugar
¾ cup flour

1. Crumble the sugar, butter, and flour to pea-sized pieces by hand, and sprinkle over the top.

2. Bake according to the recipe.
