Frank Whitman
Frank Whitman has eaten every day for as long as he can remember. He has spent his life working with food and hospitality, principally as owner of the Silvermine Tavern, a New England Country Inn in Norwalk, CT. He is an avid student of delicious dining, wonderful wines, food trends, seasonal ingredients, local sources, great chefs, and craft bakers. In short: eating well.
As a graduate of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration and a second-generation innkeeper, Frank is fascinated by good food, where it comes from, and how to get the most enjoyment from it. During his career as an eater, he has had memorable meals, forgettable meals, and a lot in between, but all have been part of a lifelong journey at the table.
